Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By installing or using AOVbar (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Service.

2. The Service

AOVbar provides a cart goal progress bar widget for Shopify stores. Features vary by plan (Free, Starter, Standard, Pro) as described on the pricing page.

3. Account and billing

  • Paid plans are billed monthly via Shopify's billing system. Prices are in USD.
  • Paid plans include a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial ends.
  • You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to affected merchants.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use AOVbar to:

  • Violate Shopify's Partner Program policies or Merchant Terms of Service.
  • Engage in deceptive practices toward your customers.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service.

5. Service availability

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by Shopify platform outages or third-party services.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AOVbar shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost revenue or profits. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim.

7. Intellectual property

AOVbar and its content are owned by us and protected by copyright law. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software except as permitted by your plan.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these terms with reasonable notice, or immediately if required by law. You may terminate by uninstalling the app.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Disputes shall be resolved in Swedish courts.
